HEALTHY EATING GUIDE

Fitzrovia & Marylebone

Here's our guide to the top healthy eating spots in the Fitzrovia & Marylebone area.

Detox Kitchen - The new Detox Kitchen space in Fitzroy Place is absolutely gorgeous. From the high ceilings to the living wall to the spread of delicious salads on the bar, this spot cannot be missed. Ideal for a quick work lunch or a mid-afternoon matcha latte with almond milk, the new deli has a ton to offer. Our favourites include the miso aubergine and kale salad and the veggie burger.

Find the Detox Kitchen at Fitzroy Place, 10 Mortimer St, W1T 3JJ

Maple & Fitz - Anyone who has been around these parts knows our undying love for Maple & Fitz. Great for a salad (go for the Mexican Standoff - full of protein, complex carbs and good fats) or juice (I love the First Love - beet, carrot, apple, celery, lemon) to take away but the real standout is the gluten-free brownie. If you sneak downstairs, they have a cozy little seating area.

Find Maple & Fitz at 36A Berners Street, W1T 3LY

Ethos - For a solo working lunch, this is my choice. Fill your plate from the vegetarian buffet, get the wifi password from one of the extra-friendly waitstaff and tuck in. The atmosphere is really lovely with the signature birch trees and the food is absolutely delicious. Make sure to get there early so all the options are still available. Our favourites are the courgette cakes and the baba ganoush.

Find Ethos at 48 Eastcastle Street, W1W 8DX

Mae Deli - This is a new one. The Mae Deli is the latest business venture of vegan tycoon Deliciously Ella. It features salads, smoothies, sweet treats and more and is a great stop for nourishing, guilt-free fare. The deli is a great place to sit in with a salad and perhaps a cake and cup of tea for dessert, that is, if you can get a table.

Find The Mae Deli at 21 Seymour Place, W1H 5BH

Daylesford Organic - The final spot on the list is something of an institution. Daylesford Organic is known for only using the freshest organic ingredients so the menu changes everyday. You can choose three salads for £12.50 so there’s no chance of FOMO and the restaurant itself is bright and a little bit classy. A great place for a slightly more upscale working lunch. Insider tip: they do delicious bone and vegetarian broths, the perfect pick-me-up on a cold winter day.

Find Daylesford Organic at 6-8 Blandford St, W1U 4AU
